Electric motorbike traction drive
Bartoš, Jiří ; Vorel, Pavel (referee) ; Martiš, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with complete designing of electric drive for lightweight motorcycle. There are mentioned options of electric drive and types of batteries. One solution for Jawa 50/555 motorcycle frame is picked. In this work are measured losses of traction motor and cooling system is modified. There are some necessary calculations of drive. In next part 10S6P Li-ion battery with balancer and undercharge controller is realized. In this thesis design of step – down converter with current control is described, cooling and PCB is proposed. Complete converter with cover is made.
Smart Li-ion Batery
Prachař, Vojtěch ; Burian, František (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with lithium accumulators with electronics, which are composed to a unit called Intelligent Battery. Within this thesis, the main features of these accumulators are explained and the circuit to monitor these accumulators has been designed and manufactured, it can disconnect them when the parameters are exceeded, and it stores the history of the battery measurement in memory. It also allows reading of current and logged battery data via UART. The computer application is designed for communication, to display the information and to adjust the battery circuit parameters. The electronics secure charging when the 24V adapter is connected according to the set parameters and it also secure balancing of the individual accumulators.
Bicycle additional drive with a combustion engine and an electric powertrain
Doležal, Lukáš ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
The objective of this master's thesis is new power converter design for bicycle with combustion engine and electric power transmission. The power converter is control by microprocessor and control algorithm is designed to achieve maximum efficiently of combustion engine. Converter and servomotor for controlling combustion engine throttle are located in metal box. Hardware, firmware and metal box are designed in the thesis.
Processor controlled voltage stabilizer with high efficiency
Halouzka, Dalibor ; Ježek, Michal (referee) ; Kovář, Jan (advisor)
Each elektronics device needs power supply voltage with special parameters. Voltage regulators warrant this special parameters. This thesis deal with principles of switching voltage regulator, especially step-down convertor, its features and ways to microprocessor based control of the convertor.
Electronic skylight
Coufal, Martin ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
Theoretical part of this thesis describes LEDs and other circuitry used for LED light design. LED light is designed, manufactured and put into operation. This thesis examines possibilities of measuring exterior light and its key parameters. The device uses two sets of LEDs – warm white and cold white to create light with parameters dependent on exterior light. LEDs are driven by constant current sources that are designed, manufactured and examined in this thesis. The device is microprocessor-controlled, which allows to switch between multiple modes of operation. Flyback SMPS is used to power the microcontroller.
Controled laboratory voltage suplier
Vít, Tomáš ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of my master’s thesis is the design and implementation of laboratory power supply with output parameters 0-25V and 0-2A and options to manage this resource by elements of the front panel or via a computer control program. Content is the theoretical analysis of the possibility of subsequent theoretical sources suggesting that it verified on the prototype laboratory resources.
Laboratory module for educational purposes
Tuhý, Luboš ; Vašíček, Adam (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of the transistor inverter to the subject of power electronics first outcome of this thesis will transistorized inverter that will serve as a demonstration tool in laboratory practice course electrical power. The laboratory preparation, students will be able to virtually test your theory acquired knowledge of the issue. Part of the theoretical analysis will be proposed circuit simulation program through classes Spice.
Development and Verification of DC/DC Converter for Future Automotive Lighting Systems with Net Voltage of 48V
Pospíšil, Josef ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Dobesch, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to describe the requirements put on electronics and headlights within car industry, above all on the newly emerging 48V power network. In the thesis the principles of chosen DC/DC buck converter topologies are briefly described. In the next part of this thesis the converters are designed and manufactured. Further, the EMC chamber measurement of these converters and their subsequent evaluation is performed. In the last part the proposed converters are compared and evaluated.
Switched power supply with current limiting
Staněk, Michal ; Brančík, Lubomír (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design and construction of switched mode power supply with continuous regulation of output voltage and current. The Power supply is designed as a switching power supply to reduce its weight and dimensions. To reach better parameters, it consists of two separate converters. The first one is isolated step-down controller with transformer. It supplies output the second controller (adjustable) and the measuring section with stable voltage. Input converter is designed as a simple single-transistor flyback converter. The TOPSwitch circuit was selected to reduce number of components. Output bench power supply is non-isolated buck converter with single transistor. For second converter the TL594 was selected as a control circuit, which typical aplication was modified to fulfill requirement of the bench power supply. Processor ATmega16 was used to show both required and actual values of current and voltage on a display.
